Chuck Elliot’s Systematic Variation | ONE | pearlescent is a C type photographic print imaged onto metallic Kodak Endura paper. It is framed to Chuck’s own bespoke design in an open fronted ‘tray frame’, laser cut from an opalescent perspex sheet. It has a 5mm thick front edge on show to the viewer and an 8mm shadow gap all around the mounted artwork. The frame is designed to be light, minimal and contemporary and allow some small amount of the wall colour on which it hangs to permeate through the subtly translucent material.
