A Group Effort
We recently held our first exhibition in collaboration with Tasburgh House Hotel in Bath, showing predominantly outdoor sculpture and ceramics on their elegant terraces overlooking the city.
Welcome to our News and Views page, where you will find articles from not only Axle Arts but invited guest writers too. Also updates on exhibitions, new work from our artists and interviews from artists, curators, makers and other people in the business with something interesting to say. We aim to make this page as dynamic as possible and hope you enjoy it. Please send us your feedback, we’d welcome it.

We are thrilled to confirm our inaugural exhibition as Axle Arts will be an outdoor sculpture show in May 2018
I’m delighted to welcome Ollie Adams to our forum. Ollie used to work as Gallery Manager of Bath Contemporary but is now pursuing a full time career as an artist. I’ll let him tell you the rest.
I’m really excited to be planning a sculpture show collaboratively with Tasburgh House Hotel for May next year. We’re focusing on ceramics for outdoor spaces but the exhibition will also include bronze and steel.
A colleague of mine is a believer of prophetic signs. I was quite surprised when he told me because I didn’t think he would believe in such things. I certainly don’t. However, I might revise that after the strange, almost fated meeting I had with Rhian Jones.
As our inaugural entry to our News and Views page, I wanted to write something serious. What more apt than to try and explain the slogan on our home page.
