Most everyone knows the Princes Trust, founded in 1976 by Prince Charles, it is one of the most successful funding organisation in the UK. They do excellent work with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 30 years old, having helped over 870,000 young people turn their lives around and in so doing, created 125,000 entrepreneurs and given business support to 395,000 people in the UK. We are very proud to working with such a worthy and high profile charity especially known for supporting the creative arts.
Currently we are working towards a formal, black tie dinner on Thursday evening, 20th June at Highgrove with dinner, a classical concert and a high end art auction with auctioneer, Arfon Haines-Davies taking the gavil – you might recognise Arfon from his HTV presenter days, now known as ITV Wales and West! We are pouring our expertise into the art auction, curating a particularly fine body of work from invited artists, which will be available to view and bid for online (Princes Trust Art Auction Site) as well as on the night at Highgrove for guests. A high quality, full colour catalogue is available to purchase (please enquire here) and is also available as a pdf below:
The exhibition and auction is being held in the Orchard Room at Highgrove and our director, Bridget Sterling, is working with other committee members to make that happen. She will be curating and hanging what will hopefully be a stunning show. In the meantime, here’s a list of our exhibiting artists:
