Neill Curran’s raku fired stoneware pot Snow Storm is named after a weather pattern because of the white patterned flecked glazing, which he applies in consistent flicks as the pot turns. He builds the layers up consistently until he achieves a flow of energy that resembles a weather pattern. In contrast Neill has glazed the inside of the pot a rich royal blue.
